Cuddle Bear
Gavin Scott
Everyone should have a Cuddle Bear! Or, if not, someone special to cuddle – mum or dad will do nicely. The Cuddle Bear in this story is a sort of deus ex machina who appears out of the blue when a small animal needs comfort. He arrives on a scooter to hug a panda who has fallen over; he comes by parachute to comfort a lonely penguin. But sometimes the animals come to him when they need help. In rhyming couplets and bright, soft, cushiony pictures, full of round, squashy animals, we discover the importance of loving and being loved.
