Cover Story
July's front cover features the hardback version of Paula Danziger's Thames Doesn't Rhyme with James, using an illustration by Joe Csatari. The book is published by Heinemann and we're grateful to them for their help. For further details see the Authorgraph interview with Paula Danziger.
Mrs Robinson's class have a topic to do, so she puts her two naughtiest children together - clever that! The story unfolds around Agnes, a mean and bad-tempered goat with amazingly filthy habits, and Mrs Carpenter, a sad and lonely old lady who has the most unsuitable but fascinating stories to tell. A gorgeous story of someone's else's topic going all wrong and taking on a life of its own. I loved it!
